All Kinds of Limbo

Bring this immersive musical performance into your own home.

If you have a smartphone or tablet you can watch an augmented reality version of the performance, for example on your table or floor.

You can experience it in video game mode on a laptop or desktop computer,

or if you have a VR headset you can see it in virtual reality.

VR, AR or on your computer

Immersive technologies, the ceremony of live performance, and the craft of theatrical staging transport audiences into the heart of the performance space.

After your scheduled performance you are then able to watch All Kinds of Limbo again and again in your own time.

All Kinds of Limbo, is a unique musical performance developed alongside the NT’s 2019 production of Andrea Levy’s award-winning novel Small Island. Lyricist and vocalist Nubiya Brandon, musician Raffy Bushman and the Nu Shape Orchestra take the audience on a musical journey inspired by the influence of Caribbean culture on the UK's music scene, with Nubiya telling her own story of a life in limbo across the genres of reggae, grime, classical and calypso.
